Im from out of town North Carolina here on business. Let me tell you the NY strip was anazing but, my server selena was top notch takes great care of her customes. I would recommend this place to anyone........
I had the pork chop with broccoli. The pork chop was a little overcooked but had good flavor. Broccoli was fantastic. Deja waited on us and was excellent! The environment was nice but the music was way too loud for a lunch crowd.
I’m so glad we decided to eat an early dinner here. The cat fish platter is on point. The only way to make it better would be to have fried orka, say this country woman. The Lemon Drop is a must have or try !! We met the owner. The interior is very unique and unchanged from its predecessor. Now I need to come here out of the way again just to come back!! The service was great. The atmosphere is what you expect. The food is out of the world for a “bar”!!
Had THE Best potato soup that I have ever had. Even bought a second serving to bring home. Great service, good prices and outstanding food. Will definitely go back
Really enjoyed our experience at Blue Duck, despite thinking this was a restaurant! When we arrived and realized it is mainly a bar we were shocked. But we went in and we were all glad we did! The food and service were great. There was also live music in the balcony. It was a little loud, though. Would definitely come back again when we’re in the area!
The Blue Duck is a really cool spot in downtown Livingston. Affordable and delicious food is hard to find but this spot delivers. Nestled right in the heart of downtown Livingston the Blue Duck offers crafted dishes with delicious sides at a very reasonable and affordable price. For drinks I had the house margarita and it was tasty and strong. Our family had the spinach and artichoke dip and it had great flavor and was able to feed 4 people. Chips were also seasoned and had good flavor. For dinner I got the sauteed shrimp, my wife got the chicken fried steak, parents got the special and all dishes were on point. Our server was very nice and the manager/owner came over and spoke with us. He was also very kind and spoke with my 4 year old for about 5 minutes. Overall very nice spot in a cool location. Great food for an affordable price I highly recommend.

Fantastic food, craft cocktails and great service all in a historic building right across from the square. The cocktails were high-end Houston quality without the Houston prices. The flank steak and chicken fried steak was fantastic. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfect (I ordered a rare flank steak) ...who knew Livingston had great food!?!
